Brothers and Sisters,

 

On June 4, 2009 the bargaining committee met with the company to hear 3rd step grievances. Six grievances were heard.

 

On June 9, 2009 the company responded with their written answers. We accepted 4 of these answer's and withdraw one, the company was informed that we reserve the right to grieve this issue again if needed. The sixth one, recall rights, will be submitted to arbitration screening for review. Since receiving the company's answer, on recall rights, we have had to file an additional grievance regarding this issue in a different classification.

 

Some of the experts are saying we have hit rock bottom in this economic mess that we are all in. Lets hope they are right and we start climbing out of this real soon. Hopefully all of our members can get back to work and we all can get our lives back on track. Credit is that what the problem was or is. Think corporate America wants everyone to think it was unions at fault "wrong" they created it all themselves.
